Mansfield plans to host the St. Paddy’s Day Pickle Parade on March 18. This parade celebrates the world’s only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade and Palooza and commemorates the spirit of the community. Art Club will be participating in the palooza and volunteering to paint windows of local businesses.
“It’s a lot of hard work we put in, but it’s really fun,” senior Karissa Cordero said.
The palooza includes pickle contests, live entertainment and features the Mansfield Pickle Queens. There will also be a pet parade, a Pickle Playground and three fun runs. You can visit the Pickle Market, which features more than 70 arts and crafts, cottage food and other retail venders. Families can also create their own float and participate in the parade.
“It’s cool to see your work displayed around Mansfield,” senior Cassidy Regan said.
Festivities begin at 8 a.m. on March 18. Anyone can sign up for a parade float here.
