With the English Premier League season just around the corner, it’s time for speculation on who will win it all and who could be losing their place in the league. Here’s my 2025-26 Premier League table predictions.
20th – Burnley
Newly promoted side Burnley appear not yet proven within the last 5 years that they’re Premier League worthy, getting relegated two out of their last three times being in the league. Without bringing in a quality striker to get the team its goals, Burnley will struggle to survive this season.
19th – Leeds
Another freshly promoted team, Leeds United, gives no reason to believe they can stay up this year, after not signing any quality defense players during the transfer window, and with defense being a key weakness. Without a quality defense, Leeds will get loads of goals scored against them, making them an easy opponent for other clubs in the league.
18th – Wolves
Ever since Wolves’ promotion in the 2018/19 season, it’s presented itself as nothing but a very steady downfall in the league, after placing 7th their first year, to 16th last season. With key players like Matheus Cunha leaving the club, this season presents itself as one to forget for Wolves.
17th – Fulham
After four seasons in a row now of Premier League soccer, Fulham’s proven through lots of resilience they have what it takes to stay in the league and will prove why they’ve stayed in the league for so long.
16th – West Ham
West Ham’s years as of late have been a bit all over the place as of late. With in the 21/22 season finishing in 7th, to the 24/25 season finishing in 14th. Now that key players like Jarrod Bowen and Tomáš Souček stay with the club, it looks to be a season of survival for the Hammers.
15th – Bournemouth
Bournemouth gave themselves an impressive debut season last year, finishing in 9th. But after losing three of their four starting defenders, the Cherries team looks a weaker side this sophomore season.
14th – Everton
Everton’s been in Premier League soccer for 72 years now going into this season, and with the new addition of Jack Grealish, it appears for the Toofies that it will be another year of top flight survival to come.
13th – Tottenham Hotspurs
Tottenham’s not shown themselves at their best when it comes to the premier league as of late. After finishing 16th last season, and still not getting a proper Harry Kane replacement for up top, it appears it will be another struggle season for the Spurs.
12th – Brentford
Losing a key player in Bryan Mbeumo, Brentford’s now lost 28 G/A and currently without a clear attacker. Without their main firepower upfront, the Bees will struggle to keep top form consistently this season.
11th – Sunderland
Sunderland’s now finally back in the Premier League after eight long years. With a qualified trophy-winning player in Granit Xhaka, Sunderland’s in sight of a comfortable first season back.
10th – Brighton
Brighton’s that mid-table team, placing within the range of 11th and 6th the last four seasons in a row. This season shows it’ll give nothing but the same from Brighton, cruising into 10th.
Ninth – Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest will be a good team this year, just not at the standard of the rest of the clubs present. Making it into European soccer this year, keeping the team at full fitness will be a struggle, causing them to place lower than they did last season.
Eighth – Crystal Palace
Momentum will be on Crystal Palace’s side this year. After winning the FA Cup and the Community Shield, Palace’s team and momentum exhibit to push higher in the league this year.
Seventh – Aston Villa
A new tone of high-quality soccer is now set at Aston Villa. Showing the high caliber play they can perform at, considering they beat PSG 3-2 last season, Villa’s a top team going into this season.
Sixth – Manchester United
Manchester United’s poor performance last season looks now forgotten, and pushed to new momentum this year. With Benjamin Sesko as the new forward for the team, the season looks to go a lot smoother than last year.
Fifth – Newcastle United
Newcastle’s a strong, reliable, and dependable team this year. With older players getting better, and new signings to boost the team, Newcastle looks to give a powerful season, bringing more European soccer to the team’s history.
Fourth – Arsenal
After three consecutive seasons in the top three, Arsenal’s likely to produce a breakdown of fitness, and players losing focus. With better teams continuously getting better, Arsenal looks for slightly worse years than the previous ones.
Third – Chelsea
Winning the FIFA Club World Cup is a huge achievement for the Blues and will make a huge impact on their league play. With Cole Palmer captaining this team, the year looks to be a great one for Chelsea.
Second – Liverpool FC
The previous champions, Liverpool FC. Splashing huge into the transfer market with additions of Florian Wirtz, and Jeremie Frimpong in the squad, it appears another year of success is set, but just not a Premier League trophy.
First – Manchester City
Manchester City proves themselves as the clear favorite this season. Erling Haaland seems back in prime form now, with the new signing Tijjani Reijnders being the new Kevin De Bruyne after his departure. It seems it will be another dominant year of Manchester City success.
