Stuco will host a blood drive on Friday, Feb. 22 from 7:00 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Students who want to participate have to sign up using this link. Stuco hopes to have 144 people give blood over the course of the day.
Those who will participate will receive a hall pass for the time signed up to give blood. Students will not miss class for more than 30 minutes.
“Each pint of blood saves 3 people. There’s a high need for blood due to proms, accidents and cancer,” Stuco sponsor Kenna Cavnar said. “We are so excited we are almost filled. If everyone shows up it’ll be one of the biggest blood drives in north Texas.”
Stuco hopes to have 144 people give blood throughout the day.
