The Legacy girls’ soccer team will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Oct. 26, from 8-10 a.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets cost $10 and the team will serve pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee.
“It works in two ways,” coach Zachary Hallak said. “We get to raise money and it’s a bonding experience for the girls as well.”
This is the second year the team has served food as a fundraiser. Last year, the girls served food at Applebees. This year, the parents will make the food, and the girls will serve those who attend.
“Last year we did it at Applebees and the girls had a blast,” Hallak said. “It would be a lot more fun taking it over to Legacy instead of Applebees.”
