Concepts of Engineering and Technology
Eventually you’re going to have to get your technology credit and this is the class to take. It’s an easy class and they provide like AutoCAD and pen turning machines that could give you a base for further engineering courses. Also, it’s taught by the wonderful Coach Green.

ACADEC
If you make the ACADEC team, you will participate in the school district in academic competitions. If you don’t make the team, towards the end of the year you get a study hall type period surrounded by some of the smartest kids in school. It’s also an honors credit which is advantageous to your GPA.

Restaurant Management
You get to make and eat food in this class. That is all you need to know.

Journalism
I’m clearly biased but Journalism has a broad variety of publications that you can apply your skills to. You can earn a tech credit through us, and our adviser, Mr. Mallett, knows what he’s doing and is willing to work with you to improve your grade. The dude cares a bit more about students than the average teacher, and I’m not even being held at gunpoint at the moment.

Community Service
There are a lot of cool things about this class. You have the option to go off campus to a school or charity to work for about 40 minutes, which serves as a break in the monotony of your typical schedule. You won’t do many projects in this class, it’s more like the first week you decide where you are volunteering (usually with one or two other friends) and you do one final powerpoint explaining your daily routine. Also, a huge reason to take this class is because it looks great on a college application. The courses teacher, Mrs. Esaili, is also an AP teacher and therefore, a credible reference.

Pre-AP Language credits
If you have any sense of vocabulary, Pre-AP Language classes are a good way to get the extra ten points, and learn decent life skills in communication, written and verbal.

Ceramics
Ceramics is cool because you don’t have to necessarily be that artistic to have fun making something. Also, Mr. Mason works with your idea instead of just asking you to change it.
