America’s Best Coffee has been a part of Mansfield since March 2007.

With exams coming very soon studying seems to be at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts. For freshman this will be their first time to take final exams in high school and that can be very stressful. For seniors this might be the deciding factor that either helps them pass or fail and get to walk across the stage. Finding a quiet and relaxing environment to study helps students stay focused and get the most out of their time.

America’s Best Coffee
ABC has a decent amount of space to accomplish any studying routines a student might have. It also provides a more calm and laidback scene that will help students stay focused. Students can enjoy the smell of coffee while they go over their materials. And as most high school students know in order to get through the painstaking task of studying, coffee has to be present.

Starbucks
When students go to Starbucks they get free wifi, which helps students if they use their school issued iPads or computers to study for exams. Students will have access to coffee and food. Starbucks also has patio seating which can be great for people who love to be outside. Although  Starbucks has many upsides they also have some downsides. Most Starbucks restaurants do not have much space and tend to be very busy with other people who use it to work or study. Because Starbucks has great popularity they usually have a lot of people which might create too much noise.

Panera
Unlike Starbucks, Panera bread has plenty of seating and tends to be a quieter scene. Panera also includes space to work and be comfortable without feeling crowded or in anyone’s way. The students will have food available to them so when they feel like they lack energy they can go get a snack and drink that will keep them going. Downsides to Panera, it can be busy. Not near as busy as Starbucks but still busy. People will be going in and out and if students get distracted by that they should look at a different place.

Library
A great alternative to driving to a place to study would be the school library. The library provides computers and a variety of different resources to help students study. The library has a great amount of space with tables and desks for students to sit at. With the library students will not have to worry about being in a loud or distracting environment. Tuesdays through Fridays the library will be available until 3:10 which means students will have to find a different place to study for that day. However on Mondays they will be open until 5:00 pm. Students can find the library hours and days at the school website.

Nature Park
Big open space where students can go to get away from people, sit outside and focus on the material. Students won’t have to worry about not having enough seating. If the students need a break while working on the guides and papers, they can get up and enjoy a little walk with great views of nature. They can walk until they find a new place to sit and study. Although students have tons of space to work with there might be some conditions to working in the park. First off, depending on the climate, students might be limited to where they can study. If the wind seems to be blowing every which way it will be hard to do anything with paper or books. Another factor to think about would be will students get distracted by the people and the activities that surround  them.
