With Christmas break around the corner, it can be hard to find fun ways to spend it. Here’s a list of fun ways to spend your Christmas break.

Downtown Dallas Wanderland
Visiting Downtown Dallas serves as an inexpensive way to spend the holidays. Dallas offers winter street fair attractions such as holiday decorations, outdoor movie screenings and live music. Restaurants and shops will feature special offerings and discounts. Festivities run from Dec. 1 to Dec. 17.

Prairie Lights
With beautifully lit holiday lights and decorations, Grand Prairie Lights can be a great way to spend time during Christmas break. Families and friends can drive through custom displays and visit the holiday village that features hot cocoa, seasonal food and rides. Tickets run at $25 per car during the week and $35 on weekends.

Six Flags Holiday in the Park
Holiday in the Park captures the holiday spirit and serves as a great way to spend time with family. The park features a reindeer meet and greet, the Frosty Snow Hill and a lineup of seasonal shows. Also, people can experience a Holiday Tree of Lights Spectacular as well as Santa’s Workshop that features Santa and Mrs. Claus. Holiday in the Park runs on select days from Nov. 9 to Jan. 1. You can buy your tickets here.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
The Dallas Arboretum can be a great way to get into the holiday spirit. Seasonal snacks and hot beverages will be provided throughout the experience. Holiday music, performances and an outdoor exhibit can be seen as well. The Dallas Arboretum is open from Nov. 6 through Jan. 8. General admission ranges from $15 for adults to $10 for children ages 3-12. Additional discounts are available on the venue’s website.
