The Mansfield ISD School Board approved Dr. Stephanie Bonneau as Legacy’s new principal at its meeting June 28.
Dr. Bonneau holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, and earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University in 2019.
She began her educational career at Workman Junior High in Arlington ISD. She taught at Howard Middle School and Timberview High School in Mansfield ISD before opening Legacy High School as an English teacher in 2007. She then moved to an instructional specialist at the district level. She served as the Assistant Principal of Advanced Academics at Seguin High School in Arlington ISD, the Director of Assessment and Accountability at Duncanville ISD, and most recently, the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Henderson ISD since 2019.
Dr. Bonneau and her husband Ron have two sons, Parker and Carter, both Legacy graduates.
Dr. Bonneau will be the fourth principal to lead Legacy since its opening in 2007. Her start date has not been announced.
