Last year junior Bryant McGarr’s team came in second place at kickball. This year he made sure to have good kickers on his team such as his brother Brandon McGarr and cousin Spencer Basham. The change paid off and McGarr took the title of 2010 Kickball Tournament champion.
“It was pretty fun. There were some challenging teams but all in all it was a good tournament,” McGarr said. “It felt good [to win] , because last year we got second and we were really close to winning so to win this year it was fun.”
The tournament successfully rose over $5,200 for baseball and softball. Baseball puts a sign in the outfield signifying all championship accomplishments last year and for future years.
