L.U.C.K. Week Candidate Applications Due Jan. 10

L.U.C.K. Week (Legacy United through Caring and Kindness) plans begin this month. Student Council will accept applications for honorable candidates through Mon, Jan. 10. Once they have received all the applications, they will read through and make a decision.

“I am very excited and nervous about the success of L.U.C.K. Week.  Last year was so huge and we set the bar so high, that I am nervous about how successful we will be this year,” Mrs. Schimming said. “With that being said, I am very confident that the students and staff at Legacy will rise to the challenge of making the dreams come true for some well deserving individual.”

While applications for candidacy require no specific criteria, unique and inspiring stories appeal to the Student Council.

“If their story really speaks to us, we want to consider them,” Student Council Sponsor Dena Schimming said.
