Mrs. Shackelford returned from Every 15 Minutes and patiently waited in the attendance office for Trae Farrar’s father. Trae and his sister Kiarra did not know he was coming.
Marine Corps. Staff Sergeant Kareen Farrar was able to come home for the weekend and surprise his kids almost two months early. Their mom called Mrs. Shackelford to let her in on the plan. Unfortunately the front desk allowed the Farrar family to go ahead and surprise their kids; skipping Mrs. Shackelford, Mrs. Schimming, the JROTC and the attendance office, so they missed the original reaction, but the Farrar’s performed a reenactment.
Trae and Kiarra’s dad has been with the Marines in Japan and North Carolina for over a year. Trae thought he wouldn’t see his father until graduation. To see their reactions and more click the video link.
