Auditions for the TMEA All-Region Jazz Ensemble were held at Birdville HS on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.. 17 Schools participated and there were a total of 38 chairs. Juniors Dylan Peacock and Thomas Kee advanced to Area, which will take place Wednesday, Oct. 3.
“Dylan and Thomas are great students,” Band Director Glenn Fugett said. “Very, very self-motivated. I think they have a great chance to make the All State Jazz Ensemble.”
