The choir program had 18 students advanced from the first round of All State on Sep.17. Since then those 18 students have been busy at work, practicing for round two. On Oct.15 all 18 students endured the tedious audition process again. Six out of 18 advanced to round three and three singers got alternate positions. One of those singers is junior Will Bradley, who received fifth chair.
“Once you get into the room it’s dead silent. There’s a curtain in front of you and you don’t know who’s behind there. It could be Miley Cyrus or it could be some guy off the street,” Bradley said. “It’s a little frightening, but once you hear the music, you just let the music take you.”
