A Veteran’s Day lunch will be held on Friday, Nov. 11th during all lunches. Students who have family members who are veterans or currently serving the US Armed Forces are welcome to attend.
“I think it’s a great idea and I am proud my students get to help host a special event like this,” Mrs. Daniel, Student Council advisor, said.
Student Council & Teen 2 students help organize a lunch to honor veterans of our students and faculty. This event open to active and former military members. It serves as a way to honor the sacrifice they made to serve the country.
“It’s a time for students to be reminded it’s not all about them and give them an opportunity to give back,” Mrs. Daniel said. “It’s important to remember the people that fight for our freedoms and have sacrificed so much for us.”
