Experiment: Bringing a piece of magnesium to the Bunsen burner Dec. 4, Hunter George,10, holds the tongs as the magnesium reacts to the fire by shining a bright white light. The lab in advanced chemistry allowed students to determine the type of reaction that took place by using different lab practices and observations.
