Twilight: Yes, I’m Obsessed

Twilight%3A+Yes%2C+Im+Obsessed

Five movies in four years. I remember when I was in middle school obsessing over Jacob and having trillions of posters hanging in my room. (Everybody did this. Do not judge.) You will be glad to know I took down all the posters and sold my books. My new obsession is One Direction and my dog.

Anyways back to the main point, this was the second time went to a midnight showing to see Breaking Dawn Part 2. I vowed to myself last year that it would be my first and last time going. Yeah, well.

So my sister and I show up to the Studio Movie Grill with our comfy pants, hoodies and no makeup. You would think that going to a midnight showing of any movie people would dress comfortable. You, my friend, would think wrong. There was people in high heels and unstretchy clothes. I felt so out of place.

The whole time we were waiting for the movie to start, I was becoming more and more excited. And to make it worse, there was this huge clock counting down when we can let in to the theater. Oh how time went by super slow.

This movie was the best movie in the whole series. Guys, seriously, watch it three times or more. It was crazy. There was some awkward moments in the movie. Awkward to the point where I physically turned my head, away from the screen and stared at the wall. They kept all the major points in the books, except for the end. I cannot put in words how much I love the ending. *Spoiler Alert* When Carlisle died, everyone in the theater was screaming at screen “Noooo,” and gasping, including me. All of us were literally in the edge of our seats. It was funny because there were people raising their hands up and being very expressive with their choice of words.

Overall I laughed, cried (twice) and got angry with the movie. I didn’t think I would be sad that this is the last movie but when I left the movie theater, an era ended. Now I know how Harry Potter fans felt when the last movie premiered. My heart goes out to all those people who dealt with the sadness. Live long and prosper Twilight and Harry Potter (imagine me peace signing here).

Oh, I'm a senior (if any of you guys even care...). I’ve been staring at this computer trying to figure out what to say, and I honestly cannot think of anything. I'm sorry I got your hopes up. Have a good day! [email protected]
