It’s that time of the year again. Ugly costumes, a crisp, cool breeze in the air, gruesome makeup, scary stories that are not so scary- Halloween. Over the years things have changed with Halloween and everyone has now grown older and more mature. Now too old to trick-or-treat, here are some ideas to bring back the Halloween fun.

Go To a Graveyard At Night
Ghosts and zombies have no scientific evidence of being real, you can create the experience they do by going to a graveyard at night. Do not commit a crime by tampering with any tombstones, messing with any of the buildings, or jumping any fences to get into the field. If you aren’t breaking any laws, a game of hide and seek wouldn’t hurt anyone. The eerie feeling of seeking your friends as the graveyard is ghoulishly quiet will give you the adrenaline rush of your life.

Go to a Haunted House
Although cliche, haunted houses are scarier than ever with updated technology, costumes, and machines. Modern technology allows us to make haunted houses scarier now than ever before with AI voices, moving animatronics, life-like creatures, scary costumes, and much more. Going through the haunted house making turns and loops not knowing what will jump out at you at any given point makes you want to push someone in front of you so you don’t have to go first. If you have to do that then haunted houses are still for you.

Scare Kids That Come Up To Your Door
We all know that one house in the neighborhood is infamous for scaring children when they come up to the door to get candy. This, at one point, could have been you getting scared. To get revenge you could scare kids that come up to your door. When unsuspecting little kids come up to the door looking for a Twix, jump out of the bushes and make them think twice about coming to your house again. It will give them a scare and you a laugh. Continue to do this for years until you become “that house.”

Fright Fest at Six Flags
Not only do you have heights but you have frights. At Frest Fest at Six Flags, you get two scares in one with roller coasters and people coming around to scare you while you walk in between the rides. Whenever you see a wooden barricade just know that someone is behind it waiting for you to walk by. At Fright Fest you’ll learn that you can get to roller coaster rides faster than you ever thought possible.

Watch Scary Movies With Friends
If all else fails and you are an introverted person who doesn’t want to leave your house, invite some friends over and share a scare with them from the comfort of your house. If you need recommendations I suggest “The People Under the Stairs. If you want more, click out of this story go to the magnifying glass on the top of this site, and type “scary movies” and a list of movies will come up all recommended by teenagers for teenagers. Make sure it is scary enough for your liking and make sure to enjoy it.
