Though the ballot language, as required by Senate Bill 30, advertises the bond as a tax rate increase, Mansfield ISD is able to fund the bond with no increase to the current tax rate, $1.1492 per $100 of appraised property value. As also required by Senate Bill 3o, the bond is split into five separate propositions based on the intent of the proposition, whether it be maintenance and replacement equipment, new technology, new construction, or stadium renovations.
