On Wednesday, April 15, the school will honor the class of 2026 with their annual Senior Breakfast. Seniors will have the chance to all be together before graduation where they will eat breakfast and watch a slideshow of their time in high school.
“It’s going to be bittersweet saying goodbye to everyone, but I love that we can come together and have breakfast one last time,” Senior Emma Beaudine said.
The senior breakfast will give seniors the opportunity to learn about the next steps to take as they move on from high school. These steps include getting their final transcript, graduating and preparing for their college or career.
“We will help the seniors to make the transition out of high school a little easier,” Academic Associate Stephanie Monajami said. “We want to let the seniors know that there is a whole team of people in these hallways that support them and are proud of them. They also need to know to keep pushing through because there’s just a handful of weeks until they reach the finish line.”
Seniors will also learn about where to send their transcripts, graduation requirements and more details about prom.
“The breakfast really leaves people feeling comfortable since they know what they need to do for the rest of the year,” Ms. Monajami said.
This will be the third senior breakfast and has become a favorite tradition for teachers, administrators and students.
“Celebrating kids is a big part of our mission and vision here, so we definitely want to make sure that these seniors know we’re proud of everything that they’ve done,” Ms. Monajami said.
The senior breakfast helps students reconnect with the entire senior community since there’s an opportunity for everyone to participate because it takes place during sixth period.
“We’ve all grown a lot in high school, so being able to see how the people have changed over time will be really sentimental,” Beaudine said, “It’s going to be super fun, the entire senior class will be there and it will be a good community experience for all of us.”
