To aid students with middle to low SAT scores, the PTSA has created a scholarship in order to send students to SAT prep courses. Students can find applications with the PTSA members at the cookie/popcorn stand on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
SAT scores determine scholarship eligibility. Applications must be completed and turned into the Counselor’s Office no later than April 30. The PSAT/ACT/SAT prep class consists of three weeks of preparation and takes place at Mansfield High School. More information can be found on the MISD website.
“[These scholarships are] always a great idea,” PTSA member Kathy Severe said. “It’s to help kids who are stuck but would still like to go to college and better their SAT scores.”
